The Queen
The movie is about the Queen Elizbeth II and the emotions n situations she goes through when Princess Diana died. It also gives an interesting prespective to the whole controversy which made diana look like an angel and elizbeth as a witch. It also highlights the importance of the empire in britian and the impact it has even on their gov’t.
The title role was beautiful performed by Helen Mirren and she even won an oscar award for it.

The only reason I watched Blood Diamond bcoz its award winning movie, after watching it I liked the storyline and acting was okay too. Ending was kinda happy but I came to know the sad aspect of child soldiers in Africa that I never knew before…
Yes it is the same Jennifer Connely from Labyrinth and I only realized after you mentioned this, she was pretty when she was young…
There are some few more movies that I’d like to suggest those I watched 4 or 5 years ago.

Following an apocalyptic Third World War, the strict government of the dystopian city-state Libria has eliminated war by suppressing all human emotion. As he struggles to conceal his feelings from his superiors, colleagues, and family, Preston finds himself drawn into a sinister world of double-crossings and lies, and becomes an unwitting pawn in a sophisticated plot which ultimately changes the repressed society forever.
