This is a poignant read in malayalam, but i highly doubt the quality of translation will do it any justice in english.

read certain reviews on Goodreads saying same 'lost in translation'. I like the topic, so ordered it from Libertybooks online sale (20% discount) yesterday.

I am not good at reading books, I hardly read few books, you can say my course books may be because I was busy with studies. However, I want to start reading books now as i believe they are your best friends. Over all, I enjoy reading informative stuff , interviews, bibliographies and researched material but i am not good at reading long novels fiction/non fiction, it is because i never got the chance to read.

Recommend me book that should be small not lengthy stuff and it should attract me towards reading.

@Lilly, you have to read The Kite Runner by Khalid Hosseini. It’s soo full of emotion!

When I think of a smaller book that’s more your cup of tea I will let you know…abhi roza lag raha hay.

I personally like this book, Anne of green gables, a lot. besides there was no daisies classroom in my school like others, so I thought I’ll recommend it to you lilly! The only stupidity in it there is no jero, no car-travel in it.

Lilly, you should also read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It does have mysticism in it and not too long. But overall, great book. Plus, I’ve seen it recommended to other guppies.

Excellent book. Paulo Coelho is love! I liked his " Witch of Portobello" and " Brida" as well. You should check those out. :slight_smile:

The ones I have read of Dan Brown so far were fast paced.
