Over the past few years, I’ve heard some very well composed songs featured in drama OSTs. Weirdly enough, the music composers of these songs haven’t really gotten much recognition aside from sahir ali bhagga and that too after he got nominated for a BAFTA last year. I wanted to start a thread where we can name and appreciate contemporary pakistani music composers.
Here’s a few of my favorites:

Jal Pari OST (I love this song even though my hubby HATES it with a passion. He finds it very dark and depressing:p)
Baatain Sunte Raho (okay this is the zong jingle but it’s still really nice)

Qaid-e-tanhai(Not confirmed that he composed it coz hum tv never credited anyone, but )
Who are you fav composers? if you don't know the composers can you list a recent song you really liked and I am sure someone here will know who composed it
Arshad Mehmood. though he is not composing music now. Just love his music. Be it OSTs of Sahira Kazmi's plays or Faiz Saheb's compositions rendered by Tina Sani and Nayyara Noor, Arshad Mehmood is just superb.
