yea...cant believe i have actually seen some aunties sit down with their pen and notebook to write down what every single person gives out during salami at a wedding.
urgh. cheap.
It is not cheap. It is honesty. The purpose of this is to keep track of who gives what, so that they can give accordingly on their weddings!
Re: Reciprocatabilimatation
Depends on the people, how nice they are, how much they’ve been a part of my life etc…and yes, also their taste. I know some people who have big hearts but our tastes don’t match and thats totally okay.
I really don’t have a set policy on it..i give whatever I can afford
Most events now be it birthday, wedding, graduation, have a "No Boxed Gifts Please".
It's easy to just write a check, or get a gift card and put it in a card for that occasion(s).
My family don't scrutinize how much was given, we discuss and then just give. thats it.
Re: Reciprocatabilimatation
Ok..what I wanna know is if that is even a real word??
Re: Reciprocatabilimatation
Waste of time, I know.
Re: Reciprocatabilimatation
I don't buy presents based on what I am given, but what I want to give and what I know the other person would like. I also put effort into, otherwise there is no point in a half-baked gesture.
