Does anyone know of any simple recipes for dinner, that don’t require too many ingredients and that can be prepared FAST? I don’t think anything can beat the 3 minutes for the instant noodles i usually end up having
, but i’m willing to push up the cooking time to 20 minutes, tops.

Invest in soups or baked goods ;-) Google it up ...

Hmm. I don't like soup all that much, but thanks for the idea :)
Re: Recipes for Quick Dinner
This is a really simple spinach curry. Even if you're not a spinach fan you might like it, my brothers do and they're usually 'allergic' to anything green.
Take about 200g of fresh spinach (i'm really not sure about the quantity, lets just say about 3 handfuls for each person) and cut into 1cm strips. Oh, you'll also need some ginger paste (or grated ginger), salt, 1 green chili, pinch of sugar and garam masala powder, oh and ghee and 1 onion.
melt the ghee in a pan and finely chop up the onion (1/2 an onion if it's only for one) and fry it until they start turning a golden brown colour. Then add the chili (chopped), salt (to taste) the pinch of sugar, the spinach and the ginger paste (use about 1/4 tsp for each person, so if you're only cooking for one then 1/4 or less will do, depending on how much you like ginger). Cook until the spinach sags and add about 100ml of water, bring to the boil then cover and let simmer for 10 mins. if there's still water left then cook uncovered until it's dry. take off the heat then add about 1/2 tsp of garam masala and mix.
Sorry, if it seems a bit jumbled up. if you do try it then be careful of the amount of salt and sugar you add, too much sugar and it tastes weird and sweet and if its too salty.. well it's just horrible then. It's one of those dishes which is really nice but you can't eat too much of, cos it's also slightly strange tasting so i usually have it as a side dish with something else but i have served it by itself a couple of times and my family's quite happy to eat it, so it could just be me.
Oh and it takes less than 20mins to make. Hope this is useful.
(i should mention this isn't my own recipe, got it from Madhur Jaffrey)

Any others?
I was about to open a thread on the same topic.
Vegetables and spinach cook fast anyways...but what about recipes with chicken or beef?
