I am planning to make **Samosas **and freeze them for the Ramadan. Now I want something different, I hope you people are getting my point, I want a different taste and different recipe.
Can you guys please help? and yes please the recipe should be easy to make
For the arabic samosa's it's
1/2 kg minced meat
1 tablespoon garlic paste
salt
cinnamon powder
black pepper
and roasted or fried pine nut's
fresh parsley
I once bought a samosa thing from a sri-lankan store, bit into it thinking it was gonna b delicious, and it turned out to b filled with BOILED EGG and TINNED TUNA. YUCK!!!
You can buy a small carton of feta cheese and add to it steamed/boiled spinach (take-out all the water) add crushed black pepper to this. Makes great samosa's!
@ RupayHalwa: Fish is good for my parents but I won't experience it after reading your own opinion about it. lol
You can make a nice fish filling for samosas with grilled/baked soft white fish like mahi-mahi or tilapia mixed with little chunky mashed potatoes (it acts as a good binder), scalions, and cilantro.
You can also make a nice fish filling with grilled/baked fish (use some white fish like tilapia and don't over cook the fish), finely sliced cabbage, cilantro, finely sliced carrots, finely chopped green onions. Samosas or rolls with this filling would taste really good.
