Recent Visitors List in the Blogs ..

Gizzy .. howdy :aliyish:

Question, how does the list work? does it randomly pick and name two out of 10 people that have visited my blog …When I see the comments made on the blog v/s the recent visitors list , they are miles apart … why?

Also, I have noticed that those who are mods across forums , when they visit my blog , I dont see their name in the recent visitors list …

Please clarify … thanks

people who have set their status to invisible, you will never see them. the recent 10 to your blog, who are not invisible, can be seen.

if ur blog is private do the same settings still apply?

the invisible setting? yeah...it's across the forums. if people are in your contact list, they will be able to see your blog regardless of them being invisible or not.

thts all fine and dandy. But if ur blog is private and Admin comes in to it, can we tell they have visited by looking at the recent visitors list?

ok first of all, admins have things much better to do than come to your blog. and even if they are in your contact list, they hardly ever come to blogs. i should know, i have them, and they hardly ever read my entries.

second yes, the recent visitors thing applies to admins as well.

what Khumar, dont mislead CE. That is the agenda number one of all admins is to invade people's privacy and stalk and chase people by entering their private blogs ..

why else did the owners pick the admins who have no obvious life, we dont have any and that is all we do whole day ...

Be serious CE. I said it 100 times before. Blog moderators access is there for a diff reason, not to stalk people and invade privacy. Tomorrow if CB in her private blog start giving you galiyan and start exposing your privacy by posting your phone number and real name, I am sure you would want me to enter her private blog and delete the info whether I am her contact or not.

Try to understand the reason of why we have admins as blog moderators instead of start screaming Privacy Invasion.

and if you still have privacy concerns, dont post blogs. Period.

uff Somebody woke up on the wrong side of bed this morning. My question was pretty simple can we tell if an admin has visited our blog or not? simple as tht. No debate on should they come into ur blogs or not. now go and drink something tanda I think old age is getting to u old chap

hint hint

if admins have a visible-when-online status (green light) then yes you can tell. If they have red status then no you cannot tell. Same with your red status friends. You cannot tell them (i think) from recent visitors list as they wont show up

But if you have Mod friends then they can see all your recent visitors and they can tell you who visited your blog (another reason why you should try to be friends with Moderators )

umm yeah I knew all of tht already grand-dad, but I thought it would of been different for private blogs obviously not the case
