the 2nd dress i couldnt put in the design very well

hehe...not bad ... i wish the first design was more clear ;-)

and when you make the shoulders, you don't keep the line straight, use pencil and small lines to make the shape of the shoulders and same with the waist area and the kaaj of the shirt, you have to connect them that it looks one piece. :)

the point where the curve of the waist ends and the semi straight line starts, so kaaj is from that point to the bottom of the shirt.

step 1…first make a rough figure like the one shown below

once you have made that then step 2 is to correct the shape/give the shape, give curves were needed, join the lines, when you join the lines make sure they look like one continuous line. :slight_smile:

hey i just saw at sum other magazines and saw sum designer's design even they dun have shoulders drawn the way u u have showed me u might be right abt kaaj thingee but shoulders wala r u sure??

I hear short shirts r out...and long shirts r in...I so hope thats not true. never liked those gharara like qameez. Is it true?

haana its very IN in karachi long shirts even in lahore i guess but at islamabad very limited number of ladies r wearing long shirts...o dun like em either....i think they look good on tall gurls...
