aww^ that is a horrifying experience, u proly have good skin that it carried you through ur wedding atleast. Woul'dve told you to send them a letter with the doc's statements scanned in too, just so they know that they were responsible for this. It would make them take better care of future clients, but this is pk so I don't think they'd actually do anything about it.

@majesty. yes i m normally very carefull when it comes to my skin. and i thought of calling them but i dont think they ll bother to note it as when i was in parlour and was speaking to manager after that incident she was not concerned about me as a client at all. she was just afraid of me to file a complaint. it was a bad expereince.

Hi every one I read all comments , and I come from UK (Leeds) all I can say is we must have economical Asian salons in Leeds because average price Leeds & Bradford Rs 8,000- 25,000, no were riduculous like 40 or 50,000 plus that's what we call greedy !!!! and cashing in on brides perhaps there trying to make all there money in the bridal season !!!!! I can say Ireland must be expensive if your bridal packages are more expensive than Pakistan !!! - We Yorkshire people are thrifty with our money and we look for economical and well reputed Asian salons and there's lots of them around now a days. My sister got married last year we paid Rs 8,000 for bridal make up /hairstyling /dupatta setting etc she looked fantastic . I was bridesmaid to my friends wedding she's English my make up/hair and other brides was around £25.00 each approx Rs 4,500 Yes I agree in UK if you come 1 hr late you loose your appointment as salons have clients booked and they do not like keeping clients waiting it's called professionalism!!! Lovey coming late what ever reason is not escusable coming late is not fashionable it's unprofessional, disorganized and sure your wedding is stressful we have all been there and done it but plan to be organised on the day get things- clothes/shoes /driver etc sorted out well before get your family /friends to help or a wedding planner if you can afford one! Aim to get to your appointment well before at least 15 mins before - gives you time to chill out and charges of Rs 2,000 etc are nothing better than loosing the appointment and no make up!
In fact getting married is stressful try to visit a spa type salon which will get you in the right mood with chill out music, surroundings
believe me it helps personally I like to go to a salon/spa with a personal feel to it not a factory line - waiting to get your make up done
going some were were they take few bookings for me is best . I have heard there's a great spa/salon opening around October in Lahore - DHA, Gulberg called SAMS ( skin analysis medical spa & gym ) foreign trained staff , Tony & Guy trained hairstylist, good make up and affordable bridal make up start from Rs 13,000. The owner is a UK trained skin specialist /weight management consultant so those wanting to get there skin and weight sorted our before big day see them check out there website.
Other well known but pricey bridal salons are Allenora, New look, Ather Shahzad, Depilex see charges given as per previous replies - it all boils down to were you want to be seen ! , your budget and if you have seen their brides/or work then choose what you feel comfortable with.
