If the military can have political agenda than why not the lawyers. Where does our constitution give the military the right to political agenda. Anyone care to explain?

Miltary has political agenda??? I did not see anywhere, fauji jawans doing rallys and protests, so far, or burning effigies of CJ or Nawaz

And dont take me wrong. I am not pro-musharraf. I just think that lawyers got this new past time now and somehow its getting into their head that recent CJ victory is only made possible cause of their "qurbanis".

Now they think that whenever they come on streets, they can bring some kind of Inqilaab

They need to do some reality check

Point is not that their protest is illegal, because it is not.
Point is that their protest is not for upholding of justice. It is for their political preference ... even though it is their right.

^^ So turning the arguement back to the original, do you think that CJ is back because lawyers support him or is he back because court verdict was given without any pressure from the bar. And if that is the case then what was the use of that protest drama where courts were not operating and people were waiting for insaaf, for over 3 months, cause lawyers were on the streets, protesting

This is funny. Anyone who has ever come in contact with our judiciary realizes how corrupt our judiciary and lawyer community is. Exploiters and black mailers are what our lawyer community is made up of.

This lawyers *awakening *has just brought one thing; an additional party realizing its mob potential and ready to fuss over the cake. Now the new party can either be on the ruling side, or on the opposition's side. At the moment they're on the opposition's side. Who knows what side it'll be on in the future, or whether or not it'll remain united within at all once the present unity in the opposition ranks on the one main agenda of go-mush-go is lost and one of the key forces like PPP, PMLN heads closer towards the corridors of power?

What will have this new fuss created or brought in or added in value for Pakistan's political system? No, the judiciary is not empowered. Only Politicized lawyers and judges are at liberty.

So this lawyers' movement hasn't been for Pakistan or its benefit, from day one it has been focused on figures and their interests. Had any improvement of Pakistan's systems or people's benefit been the main agenda, the righteous lawyers would have shunned all alike for their respective wrongs; Musharraf, BB, Mian, Qazi, Altaf, Imran, Fazl all...rather than siding with 3 wrongs to solve 2 wrongs. There's no selfless nationalistic agenda. Only self preservation tactics.

And Pakistan remains the same...
