What are your experiences with job fairs? Advices? I have to go to one friday and I am so not prepared.
Also do you have a 60-second ad of yourself? I need to make a good one :o

Why should we hire you- whats so different about you?
"I am graduating in may etc, i have about 3 yrs of sale/customer/teaching etc experience. I feel i fit the category and can be a great asset to the company" -etc
I would definately find out which companies are coming there and do a little research. Remember they are humans as well. Make a unique impression so they will remember you when you leave from there. Make sure you take a business card i would even follow up with a phone call or email later on.
After 3 tries do give up.. telling you the reality so years down the line if you have to you can apply it again.
Believe me we have comments like "pain in the a$$" in our computer system as well.
dont be pushy, dont be shy either be yourself :~)

- here is another tip for you
there is no such thing as right or wrong answer. Give the best answer to all the questions. Those people at job fair do take a quick interview of a person and make a note on it. When they get back to their desk they do review it again. Those they dont like they go down the drain..
remember your school is not the only school..
i would put some words in bold on the resume.. use a fine paper but not too fine where it seems like i am desperate. OH please dont put too much perfume where you are a walking , romance bottle

yaa ofcurse j*ob fare / open house* is really really a tough time and imp. too..to ur fate and desitiny ...u need to work on alot of thigns before ...If u really really wanaa do soemthing ....and thn ..par me being a mechanical engineering student ..not really worried abt jobs..they r in plenty available ....par still needs to work ...for "the best from the best jobs "...Par i still have one more year..will be graduated in 2007 May Inshalla......

^ yup twin born its not about getting a job, its about getting a job that I like. 2 mins away from home, with really nice ppl(i can always make ppl like me), and with a fat paycheck. Thats all i want, not much to ask for
