^ Pakistan will indeed be saved by IMF from defaulting. But where are the plans and fiscal policies from the government for taking Pakistan out of the crisis? Has anyone seen any since Feb 18? When will the government start governing?
More people are paying tax now than ever before. May this trend continue - including politicians that show pittance on their tax returns.

Yes that is true. The government and Pak politicians (+ media) have wasted a lot of time since the elections.
God Bless IMF for saving Pakistan - for the moment.
After being snubbed by its allies, What are the government’s plans for stimulating the economy? Or will they go back for more loans when this money runs out?
For Pakistan's sake, let's hope IMF is around certainly until this government with no fiscal policies, and no idea on how to stimulate the economy is still around. :)

Do you have some solutions in mind, how can we get out of this mess?
I am not sure if little people like us can help the big mess the country is in, sure we can contribute a drop to the ocean some of us are doing our part, I’m sure you are doing yours and Aalsi is doing his.
The big problem with current govt is not just lack of policies but also lack of trust in it from investors/money-holders.
Re: Rebuffed by China, Pakistan May Seek I.M.F. Aid.
its amazing how both china and saudi have both not given any aid (loans) to pakistan especially considering the relatively small amount required and the high profile visits. something is seriously wrong
