hi there,

i want to reboot my system on me laptop. but i dont know what is reboot and what it does. plz can anyone help me on this…also if there r any problems with it, e.g will i lose any data… or do i need any kind of cd…

secondly can anyone suggest a good virus software which is free to download and which can search and remove all viruses.

finally does anyone know any kind of player which can play mpeg4 files…i want the free one…i cant play a file which is in mpeg4 format on realplayer and windows media palyer…thanks

you sure its reboot not reinstall?
for reinstall you will be needingthe recovery cd/dvd that came with the notebook.
what kind of notebook you have?

  1. Reboot is same as restart. If using Windows then, click on Start then on Shutdown then select restart from dropdown and then hit OK.
  2. avast, I never used it, but on their website they say its free.
  3. you can use VLC Player to play MP4 files.

i have got lenovo/ibm's thinkpad laptop........u know when start ur computer/laptop and if u press f1 or similar keys then u get the configuration of ur lapto like bios, date, software, hardware...........overthere it said reboot your system.............well thanks for the other stuff

Avast is a best free antivirus available. I'm currently using that and it saves me 2 times.
AVG antivirus is seconed number.
You need to install Quicktime to play mp4 mpeg4 files.
