Interesting that the ragtag army of rebels in Libya, during a ‘massive humanitarian crises’ and fighting for their lives have had enough time and organization to form a new national oil company and a central bankand are already cutting oil deals.
You guys still believe this whole episode was to save oppressed people from a despotic regime?
this whole drama created by UN is now getting exposed because the run these things on their own their is someone on the ground which is far more stronger than Libyan Forces as well as rebels which is controlling all these things
and also they will never attack Yemen or Syria despite the fact that they may kill far more people than Gaddafi because they dont have oil
Libyans will always sell oil. Thats what they have to sell. Whether its Qaddafi in power, or the rebels, the economy remains the same. What do you expect will happen? How do you expect the rebels to finance their day to day life let alone a war?
Why do you think oil prices rose in particular countries, and specific european countries were alarmed by unrest in Libya (Italy for example). Do you think Qaddafi wasnt selling his country's oil? Why would western countries need to overthrow a dictator if they're just going to buy oil from both parties anyway?
