Ehle, we are, but I’m speaking of Islamic allowances of four wives versus one. Men are wired to spread their seed as such, and they have an allowance to “spread” amongst four women legitimately by taking them as a wife.

It doesn’t bring them to an animal level if they exercise the right to marry four times does it?

I guess I was thinking more from practical life POV … most men don’t follow or exercise their Islamic rights according to Islamic guidelines … as such it does bring them down to the level of other animals that practice indiscriminate insemination.
I’m very very very far from being an islamic scholar … heck I don’t even consider my self knowledgeable in that regard … but marrying 2nd/3rd/4th time require very specific reasons … no?
I mean it cant just be … ooooo aaaaa pretty women … me like … me marry
I may be wrong … in which case please educate me.
