I am having a 400 people wedding in March and unfortunately that does not allow me to have an elaborate budget for wedding favors. After days of contemplating having a different and unique favor, I have concluded that the most cost effective option is just to do the standard candy bags.
Do you guys know of any online sellers on facebook or website that make reasonably priced but really cute favor bags or boxes and ship worldwide from Pakistan? Or even in the US? I want to keep the cost of the bag/box around $0.50 at max because ill have to spend money on filling them up as well.
look on ebay. you can get really cheap favor bags from china/hong kong/etc. however, shipping may take a few weeks so make sure you order in advance.
i'm not sure where you are located, but you may want to check out downtown areas where they have fabric/cloth markets such as LA and New York for some good deals.

Anything can be a favor these days...I've seen elaborate candy bags, single cookies wrapped prettily, popcorn in a cute bag tied with ribbon and personalized thank you cards, disposable cameras, etc. The sky is the limit and if you need to reeeeally budget for this then I'd do it the desi way...pan supari, almonds, some candy, a couple of other things and call it a day.
The cookie favors were by far the cutest...the couple had decorated the cookies together so each one was different...wrapped in colored plastic wrap, tied with a ribbon with a tag saying "Thank you for attending and celebrating our special day" or something to that effect.

I've actually looked into all the cute ideas for favors that you mentioned however they were turning out to be quite expensive due to the large number of people coming to the wedding so I am having to resort to the desi way of favor bags but I still wanted to get decent cute pouches and not the organza with shimmery gold motifs lol as is the typical way. The cookies were the cutest and I really wanted to do those but they are quite expensive per piece because they require a lot of effort to be made :(
^ i would suggest going with the cheap organza bags. trust me, people will eat the favors and toss the bags while still at your event. we got custom jamavar bags made in pakistan and it wasn't worth it.

That is true...they end up running a pretty penny.
I did the cookie favors on my sister's baby shower. We spoke to the local bakery and they were able to bake them for us for $1 a piece...simple plain sugar cookies. My niece decorated them with us. But you do what's best for you budget wise. Favors are not worth a huge hassle, totally agree.

Like everyone, I will also say ebay is your best pal. Simple organza bag, 100 for about $5. If you buy actual boxes, I found a couple of cute boxes, 20 for $4. Shipping is of course free if it's coming from China. Ebay and Aliexpress also has actual favor boxes, with like soaps inside or something like that, something to consider if you're looking for bags strictly for favors and not necessarily candy and stuff.
