Where can I buy stylish ready made clothes in Karachi for a reasonable price? These outfits will be worn only once (and if I am lucky, maybe twice!) by my teenage daughter so I dont want to spend too much money but do want stylish clothes she can wear to dinner parties.

Generation in Clifton do some nice clothes, theyre pretty reasonable price wise too.
Theres a boutique in The Forum shopping mall, also in Clifton which does nice clothes. Cant remember the name though. The Dolmen Mall on Tariq Road is full of little boutiques too, prices are good and haggling goes a long way.

most boutiques at bahadurabad have really nice ready made outfits.. with reasonable prices. i like exclusive. then also at tariq road, there are a buncha boutiques with ready made dresses. i suggest these 2 spots for reasonable prices

I lived in Pakistan for three years and went very frequently to Bahadurabad and Exclusive was one of my fav stores there.

Where can I buy reasonably priced clothes that are NOT see through or show the bodys silhouette?
My MIL is there right now and I asked her to check out that strip where Exclusive and cynoption is located. She said that the ready made shalwars were too see-through for my standard of modesty so she couldnt buy any.
I wanted velvet or thick cloth and she said that it is not the season for such materials so I am stuck with buying whatever is available. I cant believe that places like Gulf Plaza wont have decent material that doesnt show the body.

i feel your pain...the material for the shalwar these days is soo bad..i wouldnt even considered making a curtain out of it..
but u shud try cotton collection or a name close to it..in bahadurabad..thy have a good range of clothes and the material is good too..

u can easily get valvet n thick stuff from aashiana market at schon circle.

yeah i ahve a couple dresses from cotton collection.. not see through.. you just gotta look around more

Have you seen velvet recently? My mother in law is there right now and she is claiming that she has checked everywhere and noone has it because its not in season.
