Subhanallah there are many knowledgable ppl that visit this thread, so I;m asking a question here that’s been in my head ever since i heard of it (which was a day ago ). I tried posting elsewhere but they are currently not taking answers.
Yesterday, a family friend tells me this… it was from a book she bought from pakistan, however, it gave NO reference!!! this family friend said that she had heard the story before, and now can show ppl bcoz she has the book (even though it is w/o reference, hence, should be treated cautiously). I cant clearly recall the authors name but will post when i do inshallah.
I cant recite it word for word (which means i may have muddled up some parts, but the last part i remember clearly) so here’s the jist of it:
That before Hazrat Khadija r.a. passed away, Muhammad SAW told her to say Salam to his azwaj in heaven. Hazrat Khadija r.a replied by saying that she is his first and only wife. Muhammad SAW then replied by saying that when he went on the trip of Miraaj, Allah SWT did Muhammad SAW’s nikah to Hazrat Maryam and Hazrat Aasia…
So has anyone here heard this story before, and if so, with what refernce can it be assured to be true?
I’m not saying the waaqiya is false, I’m just saying I’ll completely believe it after I hear some evidence citing it bcoz I had NEVER heard of such a nikah of our Beloved Prophet SAW before.
A reliable authentic hadiths?
then yes....I guess.
But just a story from a book in Pakistan. I don't think so.
There's a lot of made up and false stories about Islamic events that have no connection with the Quran...like just when I thought I fully understand the full story of Adam. I read the word to word Quran translation of the story and I was shocked by how many misunderstandings and mix ups were there and some of the events that I thought occured, had no mention in the Quran. Beside the point but yeah.
I also thought it sounded a bit strange, and the fact that it had no reference makes it sound a bit fishy, but I didn't wanna diss it completely b4 having asked around :)
What is the book about ? have you read it or your friend just told you that much ?
ok, the Book is called "Allah ko Apna Bana Lo", authored by Maulana Tariq Jameel.
and yes, it was just read to me... i'll ask further, but i dont think there was a context to it... and no reference.... ii guess the context may be important, however, irrespective of the context, the fact that Muhammad SAW suuposedly said such things with regards to our two respected mothers was a bit shocking to me as I'd never heard it before.
If it’s the same Maulana Tariq Jameel that i think it is, then i’m not really sure what to say. Because the guy has a lotta credibility. He’s seen with respect on an international level.

so no one's heard of the waaqiya?
Context is important. Plus i dont think you heard it right or it was told to you incorrectly.
I see nothing shoking but ambiguity in that incident. If you want opinion then state it clearly what is actually written in that book or scan the page. Otherwise, I dont think anyone would be able to help properly.

ok, inshallah will try and get it scanned... no promises though... she lives a bit of a drive from me and i'm not if she has a scanner :)
there r some ahadith reported with similar content by tabarani, abu ishaq etc but they have all been clarified as weak (daeef) or very weak (daeef jiddan) by the scholars; some have even been classified as modhoo' ....
and almost all such ahadith have reporters which r classified as liars, not trustworthy and some even munkar-e-hadith who make up such ahadith to ridicule the hadith literature....
