no they have to be. their exixtence cannot be denied. but these people make others gloomy too. so before they do that, they need to be brought back to life.

Dushi such ppl. make me feel really gloomy. Whenever, I try to help them out for some reason I end up being depressed.

then you should do this perhaps it will help and make you feel capable of handling their sorrow and not let it rub on you in turn.
bring them things that makes them happy.
flowering plants, a park where life is in its fullest happening - kids, families enjoying their time together, let them see things being done right, taken care of an hopefully they willl begin to feel lively again.

i am an educator & i do social work, as well.

each person has to constantly educate others and be there social support, to enable them to get up, when people fall due to others' mistakes or their own. is that true?
