Pride…ego…they associate apologizing with weakness. They may think that saying “sorry” makes them look “guilty”…“wrong”…and “smaller”…and they can’t bear to be any of those things. It’s one of those traits (that can be present in both genders) that make the top of my pet peeves list. A turn off.
You learn through making mistakes…not through perfection. And if one doesn’t even have the humility to admit…let alone recognize their mistakes…then they’re not gonna learn anything…they won’t grow as a person/in character…and may even repeat the mistakes again.
