**agreed to both of your points. i assume u mean innovation not invention. however my point is that the numerical value has its uses in certain ''ilms''. if one doesnt know about it , it doesnt mean the thing doesnt exist.
ps make a list of 10 peoples actions beliefs and understanding about islam. except for some basic beliefs u will find every single person following his/her own custom made religion of selective hadith and morals. dos and donts list wud be different for evryone EVEN IN THE SAME HOUSEHOLD.
and if its the correction of the ummah we r talking about then firstly there r far more basic matters of importance than the 786 issue, secondly no one will receive the validation certificate in this world. **
on a different note .. did u ever try to investigate about yazid or other things rather than whatever is portrayed about him during first ashra of moharam? .. did u ever even tried to study islamic history rather than only listening to few mulas?

did i says numerical ilms dont exist; despite their existance we do not see in the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (saww) their usage.

true there may be other important issues but why open another front; just for the sake of it. validation of actions is when they mactch the teachings of quran and sunnah
** we dont see many things we do today in sunnah, we dont do many things today that we see in sunnah. i thought actions are judged by intentions and any validation wud be on the day of judgement. Ashoka u missed my point by a mile about the customized following of religion. That is what happens despite what the Quran says, its common observation. and i agree lets not open another front.
Yazid did not kill Husain RA according to Sahih Bukhari.
