In China I had a funny drama where my Interpretuer was called “Chung”, but you had a very strage way to pronouce the name almost like “Chu-wang” Now while China is offically listed national language is Mandarin the regional dialects sound different, so while the writting is all the smae the words can have different meanings.
Anyway “Chueng” means gun, so if your in a crowded place accompanied by good old boy network types and you shout for your interpretor but accidentally it sounds like you just shouted “gun”.
Let’s just say it became Pandemonium.

i went to shopping last week or ek bacha pata nhi keha se aa giya and started calling me PAPA PAPA .. 
i told him beta mai aap ka PAPA nhi hoon … 
i was to my friend, yaar mai ne to investment b nhi ki, ye profit keha se aagiya … 
bacha started crying onnchi onnchiii … u r my PAPA … 
literally i hve to ask each single guy in the mall, K bhai sahib ye aap ka bacha hai.
itni dair mai ek aunty ayiee mere pass or boli “bhai sahib bacha kyu roo reha hai, is ki aami keha hai”..
and i was like, is ki ammi hum dono ko dump ker k kisi or k sath bagh gayee hai … 
and she was Ohh bht bura hua, I said nhi acha hua n she was woh kyu, i said bht mottii ho gayee thi, khud nah jati, tou mai danday marr marr k bigha daita … 
khair after some his father came searching for him n i handed over the kid to him…

So pichlay Eid pe hummare sare cousins aur family humare ghar aye thay, including Daddi Ammi, jo kaffi aged hain aur unhe sai se sunnai nahi deta. Sara time hum sab ne bohat shugal lagaya rakha tha. Hass hass k hum sab ka burra haal howa tha.
Acha, so meray aik cousin ki wedding anniversary thi so hum sab un k liye surprise party arrange kar rahe thay. Daddi ammi n hum bachon se poocha “ye kya tyariya ho rahe hain? kahan ja rahe ho sab?” Phir choti cousin ne bataya “Daddi Ammi, aj Baji aur Bhai ki shadi ki saal gira hai!” Daddi ammi ne pata nahi kya sunna aur unnho ne poocha “Saat hui ti?!”
OMG. hum sab itna hasse!! Kitnay din guzar gae, hum sab phir yaad kar kar k pagalon k tarhan has rahe thay
