Lahori guppies/guppans!
Last time I was in Lahore (August 2007), semi casual ready-made outfits ranged from 650-1350 Rs. I shopped at Fortress, Pace, Anarkali and City Towers…My friend went to Pakistan in summer 2008 and got me an outfit from Cynosure that was 1500 (she forgot to take off the tag thats how I know :D)
I know prices may have increased a bit, but I want ot know how much exactly? I’m mainly interested in the ones that were 1300-1500 range…thanks

I bought quite a few med/heavy beaded shawls from Auriga market and Pace.. ranging from 350-700 Rs each. any idea how much those cost too?

I was in Lahore last fall and got some ready made outfits from Fortress (missoni, generation, libaas)
Rs 2500 - 3500 (with bronze kaam - party wear)
Rs 1500 - 3000 (nice dinner wear, it won't have shiny kaam but embriodary work
Rs 750 (Cotton stuff)
Shawls from fortress - small strolls rs. 400
Large (full size shawls) - rs. 800
The shop in fortress had everything ranging from Rs. 300 - Rs. 4000 (Pashmina)

Thanks for reminding me . the ones I have are from Collections. it has embroidery with a little bit of not-shiny beads. really nice, alot easier to wear than party/fancy wear

I got a few from collections too! I like their materials because they use gorgettes.
I hear you can find them much cheaper in Anarkali but going there is such a hike!

650-850 ones are really bad quality ones now. you cant think of washing them at all ! all stones, etc will come out.
for the others, njgal has said it all :) I would just add about another boutique Reet near Generation and Decor . they have really nice ones as well..price range: 1800-4000rs

ya u can find the range 1300-1500 at cynosure, & decor at fortress,
miss soni fortress range 1800 -3000
n ya shawls 400-1000 in auriga n dupata galli (liberty)

and 650 veriety is now 750 but as prototype mentioned their quality is realy pathetic... u can use thm js once whole heartdly n thn after a wash.......... all vanish ;)

I rarely buy ready made stuff so i am not too sure. But i went to cynosure 2 months back with a friend and i think the prices were around 2000 but i think their fabric quality is not good. The one place which i think offers nice outfits and in a very good price is Generation. I think they have really improved their styling and cuts and the prices are VERY reasonable. So do give that place a visit for sure and i bet you wont be disappointed :).

ya-LOL. I am not nice AT ALL i even charged my sister for selecting clothes for her :)....Hehehe, didnt work so hard to work for free eh :P.
