like the clothes from charlotte russe are beautiful but the necklines are so big, can’t stand it
the tops are to die for though. how do you fix the big necklines, in desi land you might just take them to a tailor and he would know what to do but i have a dark pink top, it’s beautiful but it’s neckline is a little deep for my comfort level and i can’t imagine wearing it
I want to make it so nothing is showing even when i bend. i would be mortified. i can’t find a pic of it online b/c it’s from last year’s stock
even if it’s sleeveless i put a knit cover up something like this: over it
so the arms showing isn’t a problem, it’s the neckline

something similar to this top but it’s not satin, not tight like that, it’s silk and the neckline isn’t frilly like that. i wish i could’ve found the exact same one.

I usually wear a short-sleeved black shirt under those sort of tops. The material of the shirt is very thin so you can wear it underneath any sort of top without feeling like you have too many layers on. The black shirt covers up the front area so that there isn't any display of cleavage. Not sure what material it's made out of.

Nisha, these aren't huge necklines, plus I have seen numerous indian girls wearing much less than that. Unless you have a religious compulsion, then I don't see anything morally wrong for girls to wear such things.

thanks for your point of view but i come from a very conservative background in the States and yes nonmuslim american families can also be conservative just like muslims of any nationality can be liberal, my muslim friend who was raised in Burma doesn't see a problem with showing her cleavage no judgment intended, she proudly shows it so she shares your view, i would personally be mortified if anything is seen at work or during leisure time and i feel uncomfortable seeing it too.
