I have seen an emerging trend as technology has vastly spread that a lot of Surahs, Duahs and excerpts from the Quran we find online are written in Roman Arabic meaning something like this:
**Allhahu-mahdini min aindeka wa-afaz aleeya min fuzleka wunshur aleeya min rahmateka wa-unzal aleeya min burkaateqa
**So much so; I saw a 8 year old boy one of our family friends whose started learning the Quran and started with the Noorani Qaida like we all did, except the Qaida itself has soo much english words written on it that in stead of him recognizing the letter in arabic of Alif as Alif what he reads is the english version of it?
I want to know:
- Is this allowed?
- Is it Gunah to read the Quran in roman arabic
On a side note: I also wanted to know which of the following two is more important to read for one who has finished reading the Quran in arabic already but is now reading on a constant basis.
- The Quran in Arabic
- The Quran in English or some other language?
Do you get the same reward reading in another language - or the translation reading should be separate to always reading in Arabic?
