I have been practicing reading Nastaliq in Urdu. I made a recording of myself and put it on my podcast page here:

Can you tell me how do I sound? Are there any pronunciation rules that I’m missing or anything that you can tell that I need to improve on? Thank you!
Re: reading Nastaliq (urdu)
Looks like Urdu is a foreign language to you, i.e., you don't speak/understand it and you're not from a Pakistani/Indian background, correct?
While you're pronouncing most of the letters, you're not pronouncing the words correctly at all. In the passage you've provided, there's no demarcation between, no "space" to separate one word from the other, and as a result you're joining letters from one word with the letters from the next word. It would be better if you learnt/understood Urdu first, because then you'll be able to tell which word is which.
For example, the first word in the passage is "Doctor" followed by "Abu Talib Ansari". You pronounced it as "Docara Buta Laraba Ansari". Note that the "aliph" or "a" that you're pronouncing at the end of the Doctor actually belongs to the next word" Abu. And the "ta" in "Buta" belongs to the next world "Talib". There's no "ra" between "laam" and "bay", so you can't pronounced it was Talaraba, but Talib". Good news is that you did pronounce "Ansari" correctly.
This is not to discourage you, but the way you've read the passage, no native speaker of Urdu will be able to understand a word of it. My suggestion would be to take a full course (like Rosetta Stone if it offers one for Urdu).

What if I choose an Urdu passage written in Nastaliq script that has spaces between the words. My pronunciation should be better that way since it seems the fact that there is no space between the words is messing up my Urdu pronunciation. I'll choose another passage with spaces, read it, and post it here.
By the way, you should take a look at the thread I posted regarding Urdu grammar sentences. I have been trying to learn Urdu however lack of resources is a big detriment. I hope you can post some corrections/explanations in that thread. :)
