What about reading the translation, so I actually understand what I’m reading… Versus learning to read Arabic and reading the Quran word for word with out knowing what I’m reading?

Merely reading the translation doesn’t mean that we are in actually reading Quran but it is very good for us if we read a verse with Urdu/English translation so that we understand each & every verse in better way. Usually it will take more time then only reading the Quran but as more as we read with translation for understanding purpose, we’ll get more and more reward.

Further we learned something new, automatically our feeling will be like to telling our family, relatives, friends about it. So it’s better and if possible then we should read it with translation & tafsir.
