LOL, even if my fiance’s best friend said that, my fiance (who is kinda feisty anyway 
) would have knocked off your nose.
My SO’s best friend sometimes compliments me but I take him like a brother and he’s the ONLY guy my SO trusts so we both dont mind. Plus, he’s the only one who’s allowed to call me by name, the other friends say “bhabhi”, 
But recently, we discovered that a few of his non-close friends (mind you, these are guys he isn’t close with anyway) were discussing me and how I’m hot and a few jokingly said they have a crush on me. The news eventually got back to my fiance who called them up instantly and these guys profusely apologized after my fiance scared them sh*tless.
Stuff like that makes my blood boil, I absolutely hate chichoray guys like that. Oh and then there is my fiance’s professor/cousins who say I’m beautiful but of course these are much older men so nothing is taken in a chichora-manner. Of course, all this makes my SO even more protective but he is the type to never tolerate it, I mean he gets annoyed if his friends accidentally say my name.
That being said, he is super respectful of me and not overbearing. Just protective in the most sweetest and romantic way possible.

it is not good practice to get enjoyment/lust other than your wife.

YES! It totally weirds me out. I’d prefer if they just called me M but aside from my fiance, only his best friend calls me by my name. I’m used to it now but it still makes me cringe when I hear it, lol.

sometimes women have to pretend that male attention really bothers them, in order to avoid upsetting the men in their lives. You probably wouldnt have the same problem if your friends told you your fiance was hot.

For me it depends on as to what context this comment was made. If the purpose of the comment meant any sexual means than i would make pie out of him right there. And do not hesitate to do so. And if it meant nothing in that context then i wouldnt mind.

For girls it is totally different. My friends & cousins call my fiance hot/handsome all the time and me and him joke about it because it's not a big deal if girls say that. Most probably b/c girls dont always sexualize their compliments and to be fair, I know not all guys do that either but it is very easy to misinterpret a guy's compliment.
That being said, I def. do not pretend to get offended. I dont mind if it's older/uncle-aged men but if it's guys from his age group (like those weird friends he had) I would def. be weirded out because more often than not they probably wouldn't be complimenting respectfully. And if any of his friends said "your wife is tight" he would literally punch their nose flat.

Ive seen women compliment their friends hot bf's/husbands in a manner suggesting they wouldnt mind getting raped by him (when there are no men around), so i dont know about the sexualization part; but yes, women generally are better adjusted in relationships.
