Re:Why Hindus don't eat meat

There is a shloka in VEDAS ‘JEEV HI JEEVASYA BHOJANAM’ meaning animal
is the food of animal. Now comes why is it prescribed to be vegetarian
.I think that my Muslim freinds will agree that we are born as an animal
The soceity and its rules makes us a social animal, but yet the word
animal is there. Now it has been prescribed to be vegetarian so that
we move up from the traits of an animal. There may be cannibals(as is said
about hindus);there may be vegis too; beleive no-one but just your inner-self.
Now,regarding so many funny replies which i saw,i remember a program which
i saw on CNN by Riz Khan;in HAZ,during pilgrimage meat eating is prohibited
;just think why is it so and you will get the answer to the question that
why hindus don’t eat meat.

Who the hell says that meat eating is forbidden during Hajj? You can eat anything you like. As a matter of fact Hajj is preceded by Eid-ul-Adha in which cows, goats, sheep and camels are slaughtered as sacrifice.
