re use of bridal lehnga

Hello girls…its been so long since I’ve posted on here.
I need some help, I have my bridal lehnga and I’d really like to wear it differently because I doubt I can wear it again as a lehnga (weight gain after marriage :frowning: )
So I know I could make a pishwas out of it but could I get some ideas. The lehnga is deep maroon/red’ish…what colour can I combine it with so it doesn’t look bridal since I would like to wear it to a wedding. The bottom of the lehnga has stone work but the lehnhga is banarsi fabric. Is there anything else I can do with it
Any ideas or pictures?

Re: re use of bridal lehnga

maybe you can save it for the future generations. I know some girls who had used the fabric from their mum/grandmothers dress for their wedding dress.

^ but I'd like to re-wear it

Re: re use of bridal lehnga

If you can post the pictures of the lehnga, it would help making a suggestion otherwise pishwas seems to be a good idea.

Re: re use of bridal lehnga

yeah, or if u have a light duppata i know some one who used it to make a cover up sort of coat and it split at the center. with large plaazo typ pants , it looked really stunning as all in an off white with white work.
