*there is one question which has bothered me for months and months and i just haven’t had it clarified so now i’ll try. the way i c things it is that xmas is for roman catholics or christians in general who believe in prophet esa aka jesus & that they celebrate the birth of christ on 25 dec etc cetera, but cometh 25 dec i c all the goorai celebrating xmas day when not all r catholics or have any belief in religion @ all , who don’t go to church or who r atheists etc… so isn’t xmas ritefully just for the catholics or christians in whole to celebrate and not every tom, dick and harry.
pretty much all christians celebrate christmas in one way or another.
many people who are atheist but have christian families will celebrate it as a cultural (but not religious) holiday to honor the traditions of their families.
many people also celebrate the sentiments that are emphasized at the time (generosity, family-closeness, general good will toward all).
