I have been using raza.com prepaid long distance service for a few years now. I have usually been fairly satisfied with their rates / ease of use especially to call Canada / USA / UK and Pakistan. I like the fact that i can their use local access numbers from any major city and just key in my pin code and start making calls.
Recently though they have started charging high service charges everytime i recharge my account. The last time i recharged for $10, i was charged a $3 service charge with no explanation.
I have tried to contact them for an explanation but they are unreachable via phone and their online live chat support representatives are as competent as a dead fish. The first time i talked to a mohsin who couldn’t tell his come’s from his go’s. And now i got brother moin on the line.
I am back in the market for a similar service. Any tried and tested recommendations?
so its like the atm racket. charges for transaction. I think raza.com is trying to have ppl recharge for more so instead of 2.99 charge on $10, you charge for $50 thus improving their cash flow etc etc.
but yeah i would be interested in hearing about other options
5 years ago I use Raza.com and was not satisfied after that 1019898 type thing but with raza they were charging for one minute 3 minutes I guess and 1019898 some times you are not able to connect or talk to other party but for that one minutes they were charging 10 cents connecting fees so 10 cents:eek: was a big deal for me I say durr fitty my when they explained to me why they are charging 10 cents extra other then 9 cents a minute so I switched to call4sale I think they is not alternate at all after that for 4 years as long as I had a phone I use call4sale and believe not alternate to them they are superb good.
Main kabhi rza.com se khush nahi hoi bas naam raza hai kam razi kerny waly nahi:D
Aur 10109898 istymal kerny waley kabhi apney phone bill ko ghor se nahi dekhty tabhi tareef kerty hain mujh se pocho haqeeqat jab sardar ji ne kaha 10 cent connecting fees jee:hehe:

I used to charge only $20 but then I was running out of the minutes very often so last time recharged my account for $50.00 and since then it's such a crappy service.. I always have to hang up so my mom can call me back and of course I keep losing minutes and money!!!
I will not recharge again!!!!
