I’m still having difficulty finalizing a name for our baby and time is running out…would appreciate to hear what you guys think 
What do you prefer between the two names???

Zaib - beauty, grace, adornment
Zarif - graceful, elegant, ingenious, intelligent, good natured, charming
Saarim - sharp, energetic, bold, sharp sword, lion**

I love them both.
Rayyan is more unique though so I would go for that.

i agree with the above... these names are average....i know it's hard to choose a boys name. why don't you go for Zaheer...i think that is a lovely name.

Yes, I know Rayyan has become very very common now..it is just so hard finding new names.
Sparrow, Zaheer is lovely name but its already used in the family.

What about Zamir/Zameer as you like names with Z at the beginning it means ' good conscience'

rayyan and zayd are pretty common now, but like sahar said, you dont have to be original.

well i have lots of relatives, and they have every name imaginable. But honestly, who cares if they have the same name? unless its one of ur siblings, it doesnt make a difference. Pick a name that you and ur hubby like with a good meaning.

ok well what's ur criteria for picking a name? meaning, unique, historical importance, urdu/arabic name, specific letters, something that is easy to pronounce? what dont u like?

Lol starry LIKES the names in her first post, i think she just wanted help in choosing one of them, not a list of new names you guys!
i think they are both very nice, if they are common, who cares, you like them and thats what matters. if personally i had to pick one, i'd pick Rayyan.

i have the hots for the name Salahuddin.
its such a manly name.. the kind where u slap someone in the face and then say, my name is salahuddin!
my nana was called that and i never thought much of it.. but then came kingdom of heaven and that character from history... now i dont know if it was the actor that played salahuddin taht did it for me.. or the name itself.. but hot damn indeed!
adn there isnt even a female version for it.. that i can name my girl to be.
