Sobi Goodfellas wasn't really targeted at women so it's not surprising that you didn't like it. Legends of the Fall is probably more your scene...and who knows? Maybe it's a good film? I couldn't get past the intro rolling before switching it off.
Shut it, my Scarface and Godfather DVDs are amongst my most prized possessions, so don’t try telling me that the gangster genre is above me 
Goodfellas was just a lot of hype about nothing - it has no real substance. It started off quite good, the middle was ok, but the last bit totally dragged. I liked the bit where that bloke is sent to be ‘made’ and ends up getting shot. That was good.
Plus I didn’t like the way the director kept changing narrative … either tell the wives side or the husband’s side, don’t try both.
Anyhow, Blow was really good and this Ray Liotta is one of the most talented actors in Hollywood - here’s hoping that he finds a role that makes him.
