Rawal Lake in Islamabad is an artificial reservoir which provides the water needs for the twin cities. The area around it has been landscaped beautifully to provide good recreation, be it picnics, taking long walks, fishing or boating. Here are some pics from my last visit, enjoy!

this is the same lake you can see from the trail on margalla hills is it not?

^ yes it is, the lake is actually part of the Margalla Hills National Park.
