Don’t use any products with alcohal or lemon on the face while using Retin A. Its commonfor the skin to be irritated while beginning to use Retin A. You have to break in slowly. Use very light amounts and then proceed. Also, remember that dry skin is sensitive skin so as other posters have suggested keep your skin moisturized. I am using a low dose version and I am fine despite having sensitive skin. Maybe if irritation continues you may ask your doctor to switch you on a low dose version for now.

i am already on 0.025% which i guess is the lowest. i think my skin is kinda adjusting to it. i also think i wasn’t using it correctly, my skin is already very dry, and i wasn’t moisturizing it after applying that cream.
