Twice a year that I longed for watching a movie, I used to have no problems watching Rated G/PG. So the other day I had the same urge and I rented ‘The Road to El dorado’

I must say, I was embarassed.
The only channels ever watched on our TV are MTA, Discovery, CNN, Weather & sometimes TechTV. Mainly because I can’t seem to sit down and watch something else with my father or others. Consequently my watching TV has gone down to an hour/week & thats basically local news.
I remember the last years in Pakistan where even the Dramas were hard to swollow sometimes.
Anyone else facing such problems?
How do you think the Rating system works?! And how effective it is?
What sort of Rating system there is in Pakistan for TV/Movies? What measures are made to enforce them?
Tv drama rating is directly proportional to the ads shown in between.. and mostly the drama is shown in drama breaks through commercials..
i hav come to hate TV because of commercials.. such a crucial climax.. n they put the pittiest of all the ads..
movie criteria is very manageble.. as very less quality movies r made. and they r known b4 hand to achieve success.. all ok ok english movies do well at large screen here aswell

I think the rating allowed in PK is RFUDPMLLCOTWC (Rating for under devaloped perverted muslims low level citizens of Third world country). Its a joke BTW.
Serious issue, we have to keep a balance to live in a liberal society (I mean liberal on sex issue) & our own moral value. Its upto u how u do it but us - we have to do it some how.
