^ IMO, Shoaib Malik should not play test matches as his bowling is not of much help. Atleast Razzaq's bowling helps and he has played match saving innings couple of times so he is okay.

On our last tour (two-test series in 2006) Malik saved the first test against SriLanka scoring 150 odd not out on the final day as an opener. Razzaq played his part too with the bat and we won the second thanks to Asif's bowling. So on that basis alone Malik deserves another chance. I agree though that Malik's bowling lacks penetration but he w'd probably play mainly as a batsman. Khurram Manzoor and Salman Butt w'd most likely be the openers but if either Khurram or Butt fails with the bat, they might turn to Malik again to open the innings.

Fawad is extremely talented. This guy gives his 100%. The kind of composure he showned in the last over against SA helped us win the game.
Alam needs to be given the chance, we have wasted a lot of talented players like Ajmal and Misbah and when given the chance...they became an assest.
