rasoi (2) Gokul Pithe

** Ingredients: **

250 ml Oil

200 ml Milk

2 Cardamom

200 gms Flour

400 gms Sugar

1 small size Coconut

Method:

Mix flour, milk, and 50 ml of oil well and knead.

Grate coconut. Mix grated coconut with 75 grams of sugar.

In a pan heat the coconut mix till it becomes brown.

Crush cardamom and mix with it. Keep aside and allow it to cool.

Make equal sized sized balls of the flour mix.

Flatten each ball into medium sized roundels.

Put reasonable quantity of coconut mix on each roundel and cover in the shape as in the picture.

Heat the remaining oil.

Once the oil is hot, fry the stuffed pies till they get deep brown color.

Mix the remaining sugar and enough water in a saucepan and bring it to boil till it becomes a syrup of one thread consistency.

Put the fried pies in the sugar solution and keep it for 30 minutes.

Gokul Pithe is ready to serve now.
