Hello all

Was watching a cousin’s wedding film a couple of weekends ago and suddenly began to question:

1. why is the groom given a watch, especially when he already has one
2. why is his brother and father also recipients of watches?

Is it because they were late to the baraat!

Given watch to groom is a gift… but giving it to his father and brother is too much…

Punjabi families… bride’s family give gold to groom’s mother…
