Am i the only one who just finds mehndis absolutely boring? :yawn:

actually scratch that, ALL weddings are boring! (and yes i’m sure mine was boring for some ppl as well)

I gues they’re fun IF your family is into the dancing, singing, fun stuff…but if ur family is very conservative or just boring, it really isn’t so much fun. And when its a wedding of someone else that i’m not close to, then its even more boring to just watch.

My mehndi was alright, very typical. ppl came, they did the rasams, i had my mehndi done, etc. But the best part was th mehndi itself. Totally worth every penney. :pagli: LOL believe me i know if i wasn’t the bride id’ be totally bored off my ass. Our family just isn’t into that stuff (having fun) :cb:

I used to hate mehndis/mayuns as a kid cuz they were always so boring! Noone in my family was into dancing or singing so all the older women just sat around and chit chatted or ate. Now that we are all grown up, we are bringing in all the flavor and kicking out the old boring tradition of sitting and doing nothing at mehndis!

i guess we got lucky - we had a pretty busy dancefloor and people still tell me they had a great time. i'm so relieved to hear that! i'd hate to think i threw a boring party! :p
