Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

Posing as Sher Shah Suri, for a fashion show in the UK, in the 80s.

Niazis are cousins of Suris and were main supporters of Sher Shah among Afghan tribes. The most notable Niazi noble who supported Sher Shah Suri was Isa khan Niazi. Another important chief of Niazis who served Sher Shah was Haibat khan Niazi who conquered Punjab, multan and Sindh for delhi. After death of Sher Shah suri, niazis contested for throne of delhi but were defeated.

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

lols. This tweet.

Raza Rumi ‏@Razarumi](https://twitter.com/Razarumi) 16m With due respect, Imran Khan Sb randomly identifies characters from history. Once he promised to be Mahmud Ghaznavi & now Gandhi ji.

On a serious note, thanks for sharing the pic and information :k:

Those are not the legs of a fast bowler......!!

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

You mean its a fake pic?

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

Except that he is not posing as ghaznavi but sher shah suri. Sarcasm of rumi is busted !. That idiot doesnt know that sher shah suri was an able administrator and should be inspiration for imran khan.

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

They made him wear pajama which indeed looks weird. If you also wear pajama, your legs will also look like that. On technical point of view, Afghans of sher shah didnt wear pajama but baggy shalwar. There is dummy of sher shah and his wife in the museum inside rohtas fort, they are wearing shalwar rather pajama.

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

I dont think he is saying its fake, he is pointing towards legs that looks thin in pajama. If he pays attention, they are not thin, he should compare it with his arms.On side note, khan sahab was not a body builder.

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

lol, but where does Rumi said something about Sher Shah?.. he was just talking about Gandhi with reference to Civil Disobedience announced by IK, who at one time promised to be Mahmud Ghaznavi.

I just referred this tweet as it was also linked with history and IK.

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

And i clarified to you that raza Rumi is an idiot , Imran never promised to be a ghaznavi.
He must have been referring to this pic of imran khan that he shot in 80s, but he is not posing as Mahmud ghaznavi but sher shah suri....
I hope i dont have to repeat myself after giving clarification twice.

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

He is Niazi, I only knew one Niazi :)

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

may be Rumi is not aware of this pic. anyways carry on.

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

16th December , 1971 wala?

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

*(I will frequently visit Sindh like Mehmood Ghaznavi's attacks: Imran Khan)

Rumi was referring to this.*

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

Gandhi wasn’t a prophet you know.

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

Yes. but the link with Gandhi is due to Civil disobedience and not any prophecy.

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

thanks for posting above link about his statement regarding ghaznavi.....the tweet has indeed nothing to do with this photo of 80s in which he is posing as sher shah suri.

I take back my remarks about raza rumi

Re: Rare picture of Imran Khan Niazi

I think it's important from people that part of the world understand that Gandhian policy of nonviolent movement is Gandhi's lasting contribution to political philosophy. It is an integral part of any academic political discipline in the Western world and it has inspired and influenced leaders, political thoughts, actions, movements and debates all across the world in many ways. It's a application of an ideology not an individual personification of a historical figure. So when someone talks about employing Gandhian policy of nonviolent resistance to achieve a certain aim, that doesn't mean he's going to take his clothes off, burn his wardrobe and become the next Gandhi - an impression I get from Pakistani trolls on social media.
