If it’d been born, the cyclops shark (pictured) likely wouldn’t have lived very long, Galván-Magaña said.
The baby’s stark white color would’ve made it more obvious to predators, and its malformed tail would’ve hindered swimming.
Aside from the handful of deformities, “the rest of the body was apparently normal,” with well-formed fins, according to the scientists’ study, which has been submitted for publication.

Okay no. Its cute. =p And its white!!!!!

Its a pity that they don't survive long in the wild. And how amazing is the fact that the other embryo's were normal looking, the odd one out when even the mother is a bull shark!!

Hmmm sharks!

I love sharks this is almost as interesting as the Mega-Mouth shark.

I remember the hype a few years back when some folks in Japan discovered several prehistoric species of shark still alive.

Any of you remember the cult “Alien” films? You know where the Alien opens its mouth and a serpent head comes out from inside to devour you?

Well this proves that no matter how freaking awesome science fiction gets mother nature was always there first.
