Re: Raqs e Bismil?

Actually, 'Raqs e Bismil' is the title of Abida Parveen's album, which contain Sufi poetry.

There are many stories in sufi literature which talk about the dancing of bodies without head and talking heads which were separated from the bodies. We hear that Mansoor's body kept on saying 'Anal Haq' after he was killed. We heard same about a saint Sarmad who was killed on the door of Jama Masjid Delhi and his head kept on talking.

Re: Raqs e Bismil?

yeah, i know it...i've heard one Ghazal from it because it was written by my meHboob shaa'ir janaab e AsGhar Husain 'AsGhar' GonDvii..."zaahid ne meraa Haasil-e-iimaaN nahiiN dekhaa!"...beautifully sung, indeed!

kia Haqeeqat hai aur kia fiction...yeh to Allah hii jaantaa hai...vaise, yes...i've heard about Sarmad and Mansoor...na'ra e "anaa-al-Haq!" :)

zaahid ne meraa Haasil-e-iimaan nahiiN dekhaa!

beautifully sung, indeed! Hindi dohe is like icing on the cake!

Yes it contains the song, which has now become OST of Shehr e Zaat.
