Rapid growth

The Vatican’s top theologian, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, said earlier this week the West “no longer loves itself” and so was unable to respond to the challenge of Islam, which was growing because it expressed “greater spiritual energy.”

This means more people are converting to Islam and Muslim
Migrants are responsible for this.

take care

Some of the comments at the beginning of this article, are rather disturbing. Specifically:

[quote]
The Vatican warned Catholic women on Friday to think hard before marrying a Muslim and urged Muslims to show more respect for human rights, gender equality and democracy.

Calling women "the least protected member of the Muslim family," it spoke of the "bitter experience" western Catholics had with Muslim husbands, especially if they married outside the Islamic world and later moved to his country of origin.

The comments in a document about migrants around the world were preceded by remarks about points of agreement between Christians and Muslims but they seemed likely to fuel mistrust between the world's two largest religions.

[The document] hoped Muslims would show "a growing awareness that fundamental liberties, the inviolable rights of the person, the equal dignity of man and woman, the democratic principle of government and the healthy lay character of the state are principles that cannot be surrendered."

When a Catholic woman and Muslim man wanted to marry, it said, "bitter experience teaches us that a particularly careful and in-depth preparation is called for."

here is what quran says...
Lo! You are the ones who love them but they love you not, and you believe in all the Scriptures, while they disbelieve in your Book. And when they meet you, they say, "We believe". But when they are alone, they bite the tips of their fingers at you in rage. Say: "Perish in your rage. Certainly, Allâh knows what is in the breasts ." (Aali Imran 3:119)

Well that is upto Allah to determine.

Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and **nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.* And when they listen to the revelation received by the Messenger, thou wilt see their eyes overflowing with tears, for they recognise the truth: they pray: "Our Lord! we believe; write us down among the witnesses. ...] And for this their prayer hath Allah rewarded them with gardens, with rivers flowing underneath,- their eternal home. Such is the recompense of those who do good.* {5.82-85}

Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve {2.62}

If only they [the People of the Book - my insertion, NH] had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There is from among them a party on the right course: but many of them follow a course that is evil {5.66}

Those who believe (in the Qur'an), those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Sabians and the Christians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness,- on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve {5.69}

Leave it upto Allah SWT to be the Judge.

isnt it so easy to say that leave it upto allah to judge, while allah has sent us the book to judge with...

Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins,That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allâh).
But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allâh) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). (Maryam 19:90-92)
and even now you think it is possible for christians to enter in jannah unles they repent? allah will never forgive shirk unles they repent in this world...thats it...
Verily! Allâh forgives not (the sin of) setting up partners in worship with Him, but He forgives whom he pleases sins other than that, and whoever sets up partners in worship with Allâh, has indeed strayed far away. (An-Nisa 4:116)

Okay, fine, whatever, you win. We are better judges than Allah (Nauzubillah). Happy now? :smack:

Are you saying that todays Christians, as long as they are good could enter heaven? :confused:

After the mission of our messenger :saw: no other religion except islam will be accepted.

why is that when i qoute from the book of allah, you resort to childish attempts at making your point. did i say that we are better judges than allah? or did i claim to have power to judge independent of allah? i said allah has sent us a book to judge, and if we judge by the book of allah we are actually following allah’s commands.
what are you trying to say? that shirk can be forgiven? even after i qouted the ayah that is clear as water? or are you saying that may be he can be guided, then yes i agree, there is no restriction on guidance as long as it comes before death approaches, so if he publiclly repents from shikr before his death then he has a chance, otherwise my statement stands that may he burn in hell forever…

All i am trying to say is simply this...

... only Allah Will Judge each of us. Period.

tomorrow some one will say oh then may be satan can go to heaven too, because allah will judge us and him and we should not judge him. this way no one can be sure if any one is kafir or not, so please understand where i am coming from, yes allah will judge every one, but there are certain guidelines from allah that tell us that who ever falls in these guidelines, beware that they are destined for hell. and a person who indulges in shirk is the main guideline that makes certain that some one who does this willingly will go to hell...no question about it unles he repents BEFORE he sees the angel of death...

Thandymazak, if the likes are you in heaven, trust me...such a thing would more closely resemble a public bathroom in Dhaka during the summer than anything heaven closely resembles.

hindus dont even believe in heaven so how can they lecture muslims on how it will look like? that debate was between a musilm and a muslimah, i dont think hindus can even have the idea of how beautiful the heaven will be...

God decides who goes to haven or hell, here is an example.

“A man walking along a path felt very thirsty. Reaching a well he descended into it, drank his fill and came up. Then he saw a dog with its tongue hanging out, trying to lick up mud to quench its thirst. The man saw that the dog was feeling the same thirst as he had felt so he went down into the well again and filled his shoe with water and gave the dog a drink. God forgave his sins for this action.”

you didnt address Nadia's Quranic reference.

perhaps you should tell us why you are so sure your consignment to Hell of those people is consistent with the particular references she posted.

Im sure you believe that every part of the Quran is just as important as the other.

wallah, now even mushriks have chance of heaven…great dellusions ppl you guys remain firm and we will remain firm inshalalh on our beliefs.
quran was revealed in stages and some ayats abrogated some
this ayat was final and abrogated all ayats regarding jews and christians being able to go to heaven
And whoever seeks a religion other than Islâm, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. (Aali Imran 3:85)

the jews before the time of Jesus :as: will go to heaven and christians who did not indulge in polytheism will go to heaven but now all religions must accept the finality of prophethood of mohammad :saw: to be able to go to heaven, that is the firm stance of ahlul sunnah wal jama and there is no compromise on this issue…

GOD is probably an idiot if you think he/she doesn't let Buddha, Gandhi, Mother teresa in.
