Personal conveyance is a status symbol in our country and that could cause failure of this project. you can compare the number of personal vehicles and public vehicles on the road. it seems we can’t benefit even if we pick the public vehicles(already in a small number as compared to personal) out of the road and put on the rapid track. Solution would either we promote a culture for public transport or facilitate personal vehicles on the road. I personally if have a bike would prefer to start my journey from my house to my office and rather to reach bus rapid stand by walk and wait for rapid bus.

Not everybody can afford to have a personal conveyance.
