Though both issues are well apart, there is some serious linkage. Rape Victims are more likely to face breast cancer than normal women as most rape victims go for abortion after sexual assault. Abortion is amongst the biggest reasons for breast cancer.
According to a study:
Women under age 18 who had an induced abortion have an increased breast cancer risk of 150%.
Women of age 30 and above who aborted a first pregnancy increase their breast cancer risk by 110%.
Overall, women who have an induced abortion have an increased breast cancer risk of 50%.

On the other hand, there are a number of debates still going on, whether abortion should be allowed for rape victims or not. Many people will still not allow women or even rape victims to go for abortion. For instance: Texas pharmacist refuses pill for rape victim Woman with doctor’s prescription for drug turned away (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4155229/)
That is disgusting! First, the woman has to bear the trauma of rape and on top of that she must carry the child to full term?! That is like being pushed into the seventh circle of hell.
As for these pharmacists who refuse to give out medication, they should just change their jobs. I don’t go to my boss and say “I won’t do what you asked me to because I think dealing in bonds is a sin”. He would kick me out for that! If they can’t handle the work, then choose another profession!!
Yes women must be allowed abortion if they want to go for it, even if they are not rape victims. I just brought up another way of thinking, where people won't allow abortion.
so in both cases whether she keeps the kid or abort it. Woman is in trouble....
What happens to the guy? why he gets easy way out...... as a punishment for rape it wont be a bad idea to take off one of his balls next time he wont do it..... if he does it again...well there is a 2nd one and even after that he does not get his lesson.... we have the last option...
Yes you are right, women get punished in both ways, but they are most likely to be awarded with the kids at the time of seperation. Courts favor mothers more than they do favor fathers.
Rapists must be treated harshly and they are treated harshly every where, when ever they are proved to have committed rape. As for the rape, it is as hard to prove in courts as is any other crime. Even in this modern age, if sometimes a person have to pay some money to get back his stolen car, then it is not fair to blame courts and governments for not being harsh with rapists.
