Wel I spent my childhood in Jordan and Saudi. Both countries have a serious problem with honour killings and rape. Actually spent 9 years in Riyadh in the 80s, and the place was really dangerous for women. They never left home with out a male relative. So unless you are telling me that Saudi has changed over the last 20 years, I don’t believe you.
Let make this clear, I said Islamic countries and not Islam!!! Most Muslim countries are tribal, and women are considered the property of the tribe. So unless they ditch this patriachal tribal culture, these type of incidents will continue.
