I have been listening to this online radio that plays a lot of bhangra, desi remix and Pakistani group songs. One of the things I noticed that a lot of bhangra songs have a back ground rap beat to it, so do most of the remixes.

I’d have agreed but for that idiot Eminem, I have to think twice now.
It depends on the songs they re-mix with, sometimes they ruin such a good song by using some rubbish tune and visa versa.

I have been listening to Remixes since high school.. If we we ever meet, I will play some really awesome tracks for ya..
If you like remixes, check out this one if you can find it.. Its called "Paki Pride" by DSNY... Some really good remixes..

So true... It depends on the DJ though..
Ballsy Sagoo is the best over in England (I dont know about the rest). In the states I think the best are DSNY, DJ Harry, and Asian Boyz Club.
Eminem is pretty cool.. His music is actually sorta deep!
Indian DJs ruin good rap songs with thier crap music.
Whether rap or any other type of beat is introduced it all depends on whether the mixing is done right. Sometimes the results are comical, sometimes it's excellent. Rap generally sounds a bit naff IMO, but there are some good re-mixes of songs in general.
