Just want to continue a discussion that I was having with Rani in one of the other threads. I can’t quite understand where Rani is coming from so I isolated this exchange
=============================================
Xtreme:
Give Abrahamic religions their due. Islam released many human beings from the evils of caste persecution, as did Christianity. You yourself wouldn’t be a sikh today if you Guru Nanak hadn’t been exposed to the teachings of islam, and thus rejecting bride burning and division of humanity into lower and higher beings, with the low born shudras destined to serve the Brahmins.
Read the Manusmitri to learn what the ‘great sages’ of Hindu religion practised then you might want to acknowledge the debt India owes to ‘Abrahamic’ religion.
Rani:
You got to be kidding…they took us back to dark ages…with women locked up in the house, music and culture all defined as evil and ungodly. Even now we are facing the problems created by ‘Abrahamical religions’ which have no concept of universality. Guru nanak preached universality and equality of all human beings regardless of their religion which is absolutely opposite of what Abrahamical religions preach.
How did Islam take you back to the dark ages? Wasn't bride burning, satti, caste system part of the dark ages? In fact Islam and Christianity released many low castes from the Brahmin stranglehold, and your own ancestors rejected Hinduism to become sikhs after Guru Nanak came into contact with muslim sufis.
So once again, please tell us how we muslims took you from the age of enlightenment and Shudra abuse into the Dark Ages?
Why 'Rani' in title? It is not necessary. At least moderators should refrain from name calling. i demand that this thread should be deleted immediately, maybe reposted without her name in title.
overall attitude smells stalking, why not zz or queer or andhra or banta singh? essentially there is a more follow up of her
posts.
why anyone is obliged to reply the moron-turned-experts who will quote 'shatapath brahmana' and 'taitirey samhita' thanks to hate websites available on net. he has amply illustrated his lack of knowledge and bigotry. so why bother.
Get rid of the chip buddy.... and who's name-calling now? "moron-turned-experts" What makes it okay for you to use such language and not anyone else? Geez....and then some folks cry for equality and justice in a "racially biased" environment. Gimme a break!
If you read what Xtreme has written to begin his post you'll understand why Rani's name is there and not queer's or yours'. Here, I'll copy it for you:

Thanks very much, it seems that i am on trial every time i say something Pakistanis disagree with it....the passage from the post is taken out and I am asked to explain seperately from the thread the post was intended for. This absolutely amounts to stalking. I have been stalked before by malik and co. they have been yelling my name every time they posted something about India, in which i didn't participate. Yesterday i was taken to task because i used words saying "i am compelled to answer your post" to 'arai' by the moderator.
Munza,
I am not going to answer anything seperately taken out of other thread, ZZ is right it is absolutely inapporiate...if you want to discuss it in the thread the post was written in, i and other participants who are willing to discuss can participate in it. I don't care if i sound resentful (as you put it) but i refuse to be trial every time i say something Xtreme or somebody else doesn't like....there are many many things they say all the time which i find highly offensive, but in the name of discussion i have tried to answered them within the thread in a very civilized manner compare to many other participants on this forum.
P.S. ZZ, i want to thank you for raising your voice against this kind of harassasment.
I will not answer seperately anything that was part of other thread...you can discuss it within that thread. There is no reason for you bring it out seperatly. I find this highly inappropriate and i agree with ZZ this amounts to stalking and also attention grabing on your part and taking advantage of the fact that you are on on Pakistani forum.

He could have asked the same question within the thread...starting a new thread based on something i said in one my post is absolutely radiculous and very inappropriate...it was said in a context...i am not going to answer it seperately.
P.S. He can ask the question in the thread it was intended for...

While Rani and ZZ may find it objectionable to continue a discussion in another thread, and hence refuse to participate at all, I just have a small observation to make.
I find it interesting that Rani, ZZ, Banta Singh and others of various beliefs chose to come to this forum and participate. Otherwise this Religious forum will be totally devoured by Shia-Sunni arguments.
I don't know about you folks, but I find it quite knowledgable to read some of the posts written in hindu/muslim/sikh discussions, as it gives me a better understanding of the mind-set and beliefs.
BTW, I always thought the followers of divine religions are an over-whelming majority in the world. The only major non-divine religions are hinduism, sikhism and buddhism. Am I right?
I have read many posts by non-muslims in these pages, but never once did I read in any of their posts their defence of caste-system. Can someone provide some explanation for it?
I think the topic is clearly unfair, we are all here to express our opinions and quoting someone and starting a thread is certainly not a good practice, well ur free to do that but its not ethical as anyone can now copy and paste ur commnets said in the context of another topic and start a thread.
Excuse me, but I do not appreciate being called a stalker for asking a perfectly legitemate question. In case you hadn't noticed, that thread in which this exchange originally took place has close to 80 posts. That discussion is now covering too many different topics so I don't see what is wrong with taking one aspect and concentrating on that.
I think if you read that thread you will find that the context does not really make much difference so this 'unethical' smokescreen is pretty much redundant. All this hoopla is clearly an effort to deflect from the actual topic which Rani doesn't want to address.
IMO if people are going to make statements they should be prepared to have them examined without resorting to slurs on people's characters. I don't put words in people's mouths they are free to say what they want, unlike plenty of other sites.

Many threads have gone to more than hundred so what...i am standing behind what i said but resent the fact that you had to make it onto a seperate thread to get attention. I am sorry i am not going to answer something seperately which was part of a thread and said in a context....if you want an answer appropriate thing was to stay within that thread....this is clearly inappropriate

In that case, i would recommend u running a search engine and checking the archives about hinduism and stuff like. I do not see any reason to reply the same junk all over again.
there are few non muslims here, maybe 5-6. they naturally have finite time, energy and patience. so why repeat same muck. except NYA, there is hardly anyone here who can claim some scholarship. so when people turn pundits in five minutes using search engines quoting ‘shatapath brahmana 1:2:3:4’ or whatever, it naturally induces only ridicule.

it’s ok, if ZZ thinks I am a moron stalker then he is quite welcome to think so. It’s true I am no scholar ZZ but I try to get by as best I can in my own muddle-headed way. It isn’t about proving anyone wrong either mate, I thought that statement was misleading and I asked for Rani to justify it that’s all. Maybe she will. She’s a busy girl though , so we’ll just have to wait
